With over 15 years of experience, James West is a seasoned M&A adviser specializing in life sciences. He has worked extensively with sponsor-backed corporates and independent companies, bringing deep expertise in Pharma services—particularly across drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization.

James leads Bourne Partners’ London office, enhancing the firm’s transatlantic capabilities and expanding its European footprint. His strong relationships with private equity firms across Europe and the U.S. position him to accelerate Bourne’s international growth.

Prior to joining Bourne, James served as a Managing Director at Lincoln International, with career experience spanning both London and New York. He holds a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Bath and is a qualified Associate Chartered Accountant.
